Project Overview

In 2025 Tesco’s Club Card celebrated its 30th Birthday Party and held a public event to celebrate – I was brought in by their PR team to lead the project in 6 weeks.

The event was held over two days in The Vinyl Factory over 6 sessions – in each session 180 to 200 guests were treated to ‘touch points’, and special performances by boyband Blue (day 1) and girlband B*Witched (day 2).

My role was to take the creative brief and turn it into reality. I did so by bringing in my own team to manage the event, a number of suppliers I’ve worked with for years – and some of my own production equipment.

The touch points of the event included;

  • A Grabber Machine to win Tesco prizes, such as £5 vouchers and ClubCard points
  • A Ball Pool to win prizes such as Spa Vouchers, Theme Park Tickets, and so forth
  • A Tattoo Station to get ClubCard tattoos
  • A bar complete with Candy King pick ‘n’ mix
  • A photo booth
  • And of course the Cloakroom – complete with Tesco checkout counter

The event proved to be a huge success, with crowds lining up outside to see Blue and B*Witched!

This was a super fun event, and I hope to do more with Tesco in the future!

My only regret is not getting better pictures of the event!
